Cage Fury Fighting Championships’ next event will feature an afternoon full of championship matchups.
Promotion officials recently announced CFFC 79 will take place at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City, N.J. The card streams live on UFC Fight Pass at 2 p.m. ET, leading directly into the broadcast of UFC on ESPN+ 22, which takes place that evening in Brazil.
In the night’s main event, CFFC featherweight champion Pat Sabatini (11-2) will face off against an opponent yet to be determined. The top prospect was expected to headline September’s CFFC 78 event, but a pair of opponents fell through, and the bout was ultimately scrapped.
“We’re excited to announce our return to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, and we plan on once again bringing fans a full night of action loaded with the next wave of mixed martial arts superstars,” CFFC President Rob Haydak said. “The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is one of the most amazing venues on the legendary Boardwalk, and we promise to bring an equally amazing lineup of skilled athletes ready to shine on the sport’s biggest stage.”
Other title fights include undefeated bantamweight champ Alexander Keshtov (9-0) against top prospect Raufeon Stots (12-1), as well a battle for the promotion’s vacant heavyweight title with Shawn Teed (5-2-1) vs. Ben Reiter (17-2-1).
Tickets are currently on sale at CFFC.tv.
