It was a close fight in the UFC 224 co-main event, but Kelvin Gastelum topped Ronaldo Souza this past Saturday night.
Gastelum (15-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC) took a split decision from Souza (25-6 MMA, 8-3 UFC) at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro in a back-and-forth fight. Gastelum was the No. 8 middleweight in our rankings going in, and Souza was No. 5.
